Kerem Avital Olive Oil is produced 100% from the olives grown in the olive orchard of Yossi and Judy Avital on Moshav Megadim in Israel.
At Kerem Avital we grow two types of olive trees for production of olive oil:
Coratina, an Italian type or strain from the Carato Pulgia region near Bari and Barnea, an Israeli type oil, bred in Israel specifically to support modern olive oil production methods.
The olive oil marketed at Kerem Avital is a home blend of the two types, resulting in a unique and particularly special flavor of high quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO).
